Joining Zeta Tau Alpha in the spring of 2024 was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Coming into college, I never could have imagined how deeply this chapter would impact my life. The women in this sisterhood have supported me through every high and low, encouraged me to grow, and continuously reminded me of the kind of person and leader I want to be. As I step into the role of President for the 2026–2027 year, I feel incredibly honored to give back to the chapter that has given me so much.

What I love most about ZTA is the genuine sisterhood. This chapter has taught me what true friendship really means — friendships built on trust, loyalty, encouragement, and unconditional support. These women have celebrated my successes, stood beside me during difficult moments, and made Texas Tech feel like home. Through every late-night conversation, spontaneous memory, and moment of laughter, I have found friendships that will last far beyond college.

More than anything, ZTA has changed my life for the better. It has given me confidence, lifelong memories, and people I know will stand beside me through every stage of life. I am endlessly grateful for the love, support, and lifelong bond this sisterhood has brought into my life, and I cannot imagine my college experience without it.

ZL,

Maddox Vickers
