GO TECH ZETA
Find your
forever home!
Dear Potential New Member,
Hi!! My name is Emerson Thorne and I am the Vice President of Recruitment for Zeta Tau Alpha at Texas Tech University! I am so excited to meet all of you this August!
Firstly, congratulations on your commitment to Texas Tech!! You are about to embark on one of the most incredible journeys of your life, and there’s nowhere better than Texas Tech to experience it!
As you start to explore Texas Tech and our Greek community, you will quickly realize that Texas Tech isn’t just a college campus- it’s a second home where you’ll make memories and connections that will last a lifetime!
When I walked through the doors of ZTA for the first time, I instantly felt at home. I was surrounded by women who embraced me for exactly who I was. It was a feeling of unconditional love and support that I never expected.
The women of Zeta have been by my side through every high and low, pushing me to be the best version of myself. The bonds we've built are unlike anything else.
College has its ups and downs, but I can tell you that having a sisterhood that believes in you and supports you through it all makes everything so much easier. Zeta has shown me strengths I never knew I had and given me leadership opportunities that have shaped me into the woman I am today.
Zeta Tau Alpha offers so much more than just four years of memories; it gives you a lifetime of love, support, mentorship and community. The sisterhood that you will gain is truly priceless and I cannot wait for you to experience it!
As you go through Panhellenic recruitment, my biggest piece of advice is to be unapologetically yourself!Trust that being true to you will lead you to exactly where you’re meant to be.
If you’re interested in recruitment, I encourage you to explore our website, as well as the TTU Panhellenic website, where you can register for recruitment, check out important dates, and get all the info you need. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at membership@texastechzeta.com.
You’re about to experience something incredibly special, and I’m so honored to be part of your journey!
Zeta Love,
Emerson Thorne
